A Madness Shared by Two: True Story of the M6-Swedish twins Sabina & Ursula Eriksson & the Murder of Glenn Hollinshead

Double Jeopardy

Sabina and Ursula Eriksson were Swedish twins traveling by bus to the UK, their behavior was so out of sorts that when they got off the bus for a quick stop at a service station, the driver refused to allow them back on.

The sisters, still acting odd were later seen walking the highway. Traffic officers were sent to help the girls and when they arrived the sister took off into oncoming traffic. At this point the police were brought in, when they arrived the girls yet again ran into traffic and both were hit by oncoming cars. Ursula suffered severe injuries, and when Sabina regained consciousness she attatcked an officer and refused medical aide. All of this was caught on video by a small television crew.

Ursula was brought to a local hospital, while Sabina was brought to the station, without a full psyche eval she had to serve one day in jail and was released. Sabina began wandering the streets with her belongings in a plastic bag.

Seeing her wandering, Glenn Hollinshead talks to her and invites her back to his house, and attempts to help her locate her sister. The next day Hollinshead is last seen going outside to ask a neighbor for teabags and moment later, stumbles out of the house saying “she stabbed me” and falls to the ground dying from his injuries.

As she leaves, things with Sabina get even more bizarre and tragic…with so many questions left unanswered.

Mel Ignatow was one of those creaps who dates a woman for two years, and then murders them. Whats worse about this case is that he brought in a old girlfriend to help him get the job done.

Mel was engaged to Brenda Schafer when she decided to break it off with him, saying that he was abusive towards her it wasn’t long after that she went missing. It was Mel’s former girlfriend Mary Ann Shore that came forward and said she help him lure her into his house, blindfolded, tortured and murdered her. She claimed they had spent several weeks planning and making arraignments.

The end of this story was super controversial as Ignatow was acquitted of the charge yet later admitted to the murder. However because of double jeopardy laws he could not be tried a second time for the murder.
