The Yoga Store Murder: The Shocking True Account of the Lululemon Athletica Killing
Info
The murder of Jayna Murray, also known The Lululemon murder, is definitely one on the books for most creative cover up and definitely a contender in the brutality department.
Back in 2011, Murray’s co-worker at the Bethesda, Maryland Lululemon Athletica store, Brittany Norwood, lured Murray to the back of the store where she attacked her, ultimately killing her. It was a mess. Norwood inflicted over 300 wounds, a mix of stab wounds and blunt force trauma. Murray bled out, trying to drag herself away. But that’s only the beginning.
To make it look like she had nothing to do with it, Norwood staged the scene to look as though she and Murray had been attacked and raped with Norwood being the only survivor of the attack. Unfortunately for Norwood, like most psychopaths, she wasn’t as smart as she though she was and left all sorts of incriminating evidence all over the crime scene that put her story in serious doubt. Her alleged motive was that Murray was planning on reporting her to their bosses for shoplifting. Shoplifting. It was such a brutal attack that outmatched the motive that Maryland’s Board of Special Appeals put a stop to any chance Norwood might have of appealing her sentence.
