The Mother From Hell – She Murdered Her Daughters and Turned Her Sons into Murderers

Oct 20, 1993 a woman who worked for the tip lines of America’s Most Wanted (a crazy popular show that as you can only guess profiled people wanted across America for bad deeds done) received a call from a young woman who is crying and trying to explain that the segment they had just shown of a cold case in which two unidentified murder victims bodies were discovered was a case about her family, and the bodies belonged to those of her sisters. The woman on the other end of the phone was Terry Knorr.

Terry had gone to the police before to tell the story of her murdered sisters, however given her checkered past, having run away at the age of 15, battling mental health and substance abuse issues, people including police and her therapist, did not believe her. The story she told everyone was one of a horrifically abusive monster mother who tortured her children, and went on to kill two of them. It was after she called the television show and was given the info for the Placer County Sherrif’s Department that they finally listened to the details that Terry knew and agreed that her story was true and the victims where in fact her sisters.

Terry’s mother, born Theresa Cross, was a manipulative controlling person, at 16 she dropped out of school to get married for the first time, when she gave birth to her first son Howard. She was an aggressively jealous wife and they fought often with punches thrown on multiple occasions. When she was pregnant with her second child, her husband said he was leaving her for good and as he made his way out the door, she shot him in the back, killing him. Claiming self defense for this, she was acquitted.

Now being a single mother of two, Theresa began drinking heavily and seeing many men. One of which was a Marine named Robert Korr who she would go on to have four more children with, Suesan, Robert, William, and Terry. It didnt take long for her heavy drinking and jealousy to sour this relationship as well as he soon left and she became a single mother yet again.

After two more marriages and two more divorces Theresa became more controlling and abusive and her mental health deteriorated. She physically abused her children severely, burning them with cigarettes’ forcing them to do labor in the heat, depriving them of sleep and throwing knives at them.

The worst of her abuse however, was directed at her daughters, as she aged poorly and they were growing into young womanhood. She forced the two oldest into prostitution, and force fed them to make them gain weight, forcing spoonful’s into their mouths until Suesan’s front teach broke, if the girls vomited she make them eat that as well.

This lifestyle went on for a long time, until things went too far. From there Theresa being the impeccable mother she was forced her other children to help her cover up for the deaths, she went on living her life until that phone call…..

This is another edge of your seat case that you have to really read to believe, and even then its horridly unbelievable.
