Feb 21, 1980 Theresa Katherine Foster went missing from her dormitory at the University of South Alabama, two days later her body is found at 10:30 am twelve miles South of Boulder Co but two rabbit hunters. Her body is face down, half buried in the snow next to the frozen stream. She appears to have been dumped at that spot from being dropped from the bridge above that ran along the highway. Her jacket was wrapped tightly around her neck and her sweater was pulled up, and bra on but below the waist she was naked, her body was battered almost beyond recognition.

The case was unlsoved for decades, until 2002 when investigators learned of Foster’s friend Jamie Kellam Letson and her obsession with Foster’s boyfriend. Letson was the last person to see Foster alive, and there was a period of time after her disappearance that she could not account for. It is found that Jamie Letson wrote a letter confessing to the murder and sent it to her friend from the University of South Alabama, this letter which was unsigned was written as part of the 12-step recovery process in Alcoholics Anonymous.

In this letter, Jamie Kellam Letson confessed to the killing, again working her way through the 12-steps, she said she was trying to make amends to her wrongs she apologizes to the her dead friend Katherine and admits that she is the person who took her life.

A super weird shampoo fetish

Luigi Longhi became aroused by washing women’s hair. In may 1981 he picked up hitchhiker Heike Feiheit, in Germany and convinced her to go to his apartment for a nice shampoo. The shampoo must have been so good, as they both fell asleep after. Heike wakes from the nap to find herself tied and gagged, and Longhi yet again lathering her hair up.

When he rain out of shampoo, he rubbed her hair and scalp with cottage cheese, honey, and salad dressing. She started slamming her feet on the floor in an attempt to get help from neighboring apartments, Longhi then panicked and strangled her. He then took her body and stuffed her in a space behind the wall, she was later found by workman repairing the roof.

Longhi was sent indefinitely to a psychiatric hospital.
